Getting started
Connect your seller account
Open Integrations
In the Brimlo workspace, open Integrations and choose Amazon. A standalone Amazon workspace appears only after an active production seller connection exists.
Authorize in Amazon
Continue to the Amazon seller authorization screen, sign in to the appropriate seller account and grant the requested access. Do not paste Amazon passwords or API credentials into Brimlo.
Return to Brimlo and sync
After Amazon redirects back successfully, Brimlo can start the initial bounded import. Keep the page open while the connection state changes from connected to importing and then to completed or review required.
You do not need Amazon developer credentials
A seller does not need to create or paste a refresh token, Login with Amazon client credentials, AWS keys or an SP API application ID into Brimlo. Seller authorization is completed through the Amazon authorization flow.

First sync window
The production first sync is intentionally bounded. Brimlo requests up to 30 days of Amazon financial activity and searches up to 90 days for Settlement V2 information. The bounds protect the connection from an uncontrolled historical import.
Later incremental syncs can be started from the Amazon workspace. Financial activity and settlement discovery can complete independently, so a settlement may temporarily remain in review.
Accounting workflow
A payout is not booked as revenue
Amazon settles multiple economic components into one cash movement. Brimlo keeps those concepts separate instead of using the bank payout as the sales total.
1. Separate components
Sales, refunds, marketplace fees, FBA related fees, tax cash components and the settlement payout are represented separately when the Amazon source data provides them.
2. Reconcile settlement
Brimlo compares the settlement information with the underlying financial activity. A missing or inconsistent component remains a review item rather than being forced into the ledger.
3. Confirm accounting
Recognized accounting candidates remain reviewable before final accounting records are created. The import itself does not silently finalize the ledger.
IVA and IRPF
Amazon data does not replace tax classification
Brimlo is built for autónomos in Spain, but an Amazon cash component alone is not enough to determine the final Spanish IVA, OSS or invoice treatment. Marketplace information is connected to the Brimlo tax workspace only after the relevant accounting context is available.
No automatic factura is issued because an Amazon transaction was imported
No final IVA or OSS treatment is inferred solely from a payout
Review remains required where the source data does not establish the accounting or tax treatment
Brimlo tax estimates use the activity and tax profile selected in the normal onboarding

Brimlo helps organize accounting data and prepare tax calculations. It does not replace professional tax or legal advice. Complex marketplace, cross border, OSS or establishment questions may require review by a qualified gestor or tax adviser.
Troubleshooting
Connection and sync states
Amazon is not connected
Open Brimlo Integrations and select Connect Amazon. The Amazon workspace remains hidden until a real production seller authorization is active.
Import is still running
The first sync is intentionally bounded and may complete financial activity and settlement discovery at different times. Do not recreate accounting records manually just because a settlement is still being discovered.
Reauthorization required
Reconnect from Integrations. Brimlo removes the unusable stored refresh credential when Amazon reports that the authorization grant is invalid or revoked, while keeping historical imported data.
Settlement is partial or does not match yet
Leave the accounting candidate in review and sync again later. Brimlo does not force a match or silently book the payout as revenue when the underlying Amazon information is incomplete.
I want to disconnect Amazon
Use the disconnect action in the Amazon connection area. The live authorization credential is destroyed, while historical finance and reconciliation records remain available for accounting continuity.

The refresh credential is encrypted before database storage
The stored credential is restricted to server side service access and is not exposed to the browser
Short lived Login with Amazon access tokens are not persisted as long term credentials
Disconnect removes the encrypted live credential without deleting historical accounting and sync records
Reauthorization is isolated from history
If Amazon revokes or invalidates the authorization grant, Brimlo marks only that seller connection as requiring reauthorization and removes the unusable encrypted credential. Previously imported finance, settlement and sync history is preserved.

FAQ
Common Amazon questions
Do I need to create Amazon API keys or copy a refresh token into Brimlo?
No. Start the connection from Brimlo Integrations and authorize access through the Amazon seller authorization flow. Brimlo handles the authorization response server side.
Does Brimlo treat my Amazon payout as revenue?
No. A payout is a cash settlement, not an accounting revenue total. Brimlo keeps sales, refunds, fees, tax cash components and settlement movements separate and reconciles them before accounting records are created.
What happens during the first sync?
After a successful production authorization, Brimlo can start a bounded first sync. The current flow uses up to 30 days of Amazon financial activity and searches up to 90 days for settlement information. Later syncs can be started again from the Amazon workspace.
What if Amazon asks me to authorize Brimlo again?
Open Integrations and reconnect Amazon. When an Amazon authorization grant is no longer valid, Brimlo marks the connection as requiring reauthorization. Existing imported finance, settlement and sync history is preserved.
Does Amazon sync automatically create final accounting entries or invoices?
No. Imported Amazon information is staged for review. Brimlo does not create a factura, finalize ledger records or infer Spanish IVA or OSS treatment solely from an Amazon payout or marketplace amount.
What happens if I disconnect Amazon?
The stored Amazon authorization credential is removed. Accounting and sync history already stored in Brimlo is retained so historical records do not disappear simply because the live connection is disconnected.
